 Tablecloth | Collective Sewing at Wymiennikownia
After several months of joint embroidery and meetings with artists at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia, drop by for the next stage of the “Tablecloth” project – sewing together the created fabric fragments into one large, symbolic tablecloth.

From September 27 to November 16, participants in the project, under the guidance of Małgorzata Halber, Marta Shurpakova, and Ewa Cieniak, created unique fabric pieces, embroidering their personal stories and emotions onto them. Each piece is different – made from various materials and in various styles. Now it’s time to bring them together into one collective whole.

 At Wymiennikownia, you’ll find the fabric fragments and five sewing machines – so we’re looking for people who can use a sewing machine and would like to take part in this unique process.
