From inside

BUILDING 

Wymiennikownia is located to the left of the main entrance to the Library Gdynia branch. You will find us by big graffiti! You enter us through the grey gate. You can take a look at our glass-case, where you will find up-to-date information and offer. Here is also a menstrual box that can be used by people in need.

GARDEN

It is our space, which we also handing over to our participants. There are plant beds here that can be arranged as desired. You can find seeds in WM – we have herbs, vegetables and fruits, as well as perennials favorable to insects.On warmer days, you can sit at the table with chairs or lie down on a sun lounger.

VESTIBULE

You sign here on the daily attendance list. When you look to the left, you will find a rack with things you can use or borrow, such as garden accessories and small DIY equipment.

OFFICE

It’s the workers command center. You can always come in here and talk. If you want to use a laptop, charger, headphones or other electronic equipment in WM – you can take it from here.

MAIN SPACE

It’s our largest space. A large space means great opportunities! This is where most of the workshops and activities you can participate in take place. Or use it in your own way, e.g. individual training. Sports equipment and art materials are available in this space.

SILENCE ROOM

A small and cozy space. Make yourself comfortable on sofas or sit at a desk. Choose one of the books, do your homework, talk in a smaller group.

KITCHEN

Here you can drink warm coffee and tea. You can use the oven or refrigerator. We also have a mixer, toaster and for decorating cakes or cookies accessories.

CHILLOUT ZONE

Comfortable sofas and pouffes. On the shelves you will find books, DVDs and board games. You can also use the sewing corner – there are five sewing machines at the participants’ disposal.

HALL WITH MIRRORS

Large dance hall. It is an ideal place for joint choreography exercises or trainings. There are also sofas and pouffes on which you can rest after an intense workout. Part of this room is dedicated to exhibitions of young people’s works. We have a long exhibition bar on which you can present your works to a wider audience.

TOILETS

There are two toilets in WM. Both are adapted for people with disabilities. One of them has a shower that you can use.
